Lauren Watts

Lauren Watts is an AANP certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Alice Lloyd College, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Union College, and a Master’s degree in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University.

She joined Trinity Family Health in 2023 and specializes in family medicine.

Lauren is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients. She is married with two children and enjoys gardening, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.

Tara Frederick

Tara Frederick is a AANP certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University. She graduated with her master’s degree in nursing from Frontier Nursing University and she has a background in hospital medicine and women’s health.

She is married with two little boys. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being outdoors.

She joined Trinity Family Health in October 2024, and looks forward to delivering quality and evidence based care to our community.

Dr. Ryan Turner

Dr. Ryan Turner, DNP, APRN, FNP-C joined Trinity Family Health as a nurse practitioner in 2025 after having worked as a nurse in cardiology, emergency department and military veteran care.

Ryan holds treatment interests in a wide range of disciplines and his approach to care is holistic in nature, considering the social and economic implications of health and wellness. Among his greatest strengths are empathy, compassion, and connecting patients to resources.

Ryan spends his time outside the clinic with his dogs and cats, preparing meals and connecting with others by breaking bread, painting and various forms of crafting.

Dr. Karen Bennett-Baker

Karen Bennett-Baker, DNP, is board-certified in primary care acute care and psych mental health. She graduated from the University of Kentucky and has over 20 years of experience.

Karen is accepting new patients of all ages for primary care, mental health, substance abuse, and MAT treatment. She is available to take new patients, schedule walk-in appointments. She is available on Mondays and Fridays.

Mandy Lockhart

Mandy Lockhart is a native of Corbin, KY. She is an ANCC board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, working with all age groups.

She holds a degree in psychology from Eastern Kentucky University, along with a degree in nursing from the University of the Cumberlands. She completed her graduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University. She has a background in psychiatric nursing and focuses on providing comprehensive mental health care and management of mental health and substance use disorders.

She is a wife and mother and enjoys spending her free time with her family and abundance of pets. She is committed to providing the best mental health care for the clients of Trinity Family Health.
